Schedule
SESSION I: Power stretch, skills and
class No. 1
• Power Stretch offers a warm-up for the
dancer with emphasis on technique, conditioning,
and flexibility exercises.
• Skills include leaps, turns and tricks
performed across the floor and linked in short
combinations.
• Class No. 1: You will love the moves in
our innovative choreography.
SCHEDULE
8:30-9 a.m.: Pre-registration pick up
9-9:30 a.m.: Power stretch
9:30-10:30 a.m.: Leaps, turns and tricks
10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.: Class
12-1 p.m.: Lunch
SESSION II: Mock Audition and Talent Recognition
• Class No. 2: More of our great moves offered
in the afternoon session.
• If You Think You Can Dance then come try
our version in the BSC Mock Audition. Requirements:
learn a short dance combination and perform
in groups of three. All dancers will receive
immediate verbal feedback from the judges.
• Some dancers will be called back to perform
again in the next round. Be prepared to learn
more choreography. The mock audition ends with
the judges’ recognizing talent for their performance
ability.
SCHEDULE
1-2:30 p.m.: Class
2:30-2:45 p.m.: Break
2:45-3:45 p.m.: Mock audition
3:45-4 p.m.: Recognition of talent
SESSION III: How to Make it in ShowBiz!
• Optional: Students may bring one
parent. Inside tips on training to become a
professional performer. Learn about auditions,
agents, and photographers. Find out where to
get headshots, resumes, and how to market your
business, “you.”
