OTHER OFFICER CANDIDATE DANCE SERVICES
CHOREOGRAPHY

Choreography performance training: For officer candidates who are required to create a dance solo for tryouts. We will not choreograph the routine for you, but we will assist in teaching you basic choreography skills such as: spatial design, tempo, energy, shape, levels, and style. We can also help you select music, create a skeleton of your music, and even make a professional copy if needed. The training shares the essential elements of music and movement needed to make a solo routine. You are empowered to create your own choreography.

Choreography help: Dancers choreographing their own solos may find help in the e-book, The Dance Maker Series. “How to” choreograph articles are collected and published into one convenient source. This is an essential tool for the first time dance maker with real “nuts and bolts” information on how to make dances, select music, and use the stage space. Find The Dance Maker Series under dance education on our website.

Candidates needing a choreographed solo routine: We will create a quality routine that fits your ability level and include the skills needed for your solo audition. A professional choreographer will make a dance that fits your performance style. You choose the music or we can help you find it. Bring that video camera to tape your session. You will perform with confidence knowing your dance was choreographed by us.

MUSIC

Music Selection: No matter what your style of dance we have researched the music to best fit your solo performance. You may choose from the following music for dance titles:

Dance Tunes 1: 100+ Dance Music Titles
